Ingredients
- Irish whiskey4 cl
- Hot brewed coffee12 cl
- Brown sugar1 tsp
- Fresh heavy cream (lightly whipped)3 cl
Instructions
- 1Pre-warm a heatproof glass or Irish coffee mug with hot water, then discard.
- 2Add brown sugar to the warm glass.
- 3Pour in hot coffee and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- 4Add Irish whiskey and stir once.
- 5Hold a spoon just above the surface and slowly pour lightly whipped cream over the back of it so it floats.
- 6Do not stir — sip the hot coffee through the cool cream.
