  • Simple syrup1.5 cl
  • Fresh mint leaves8–10 leaves
  • Crushed iceto fill
  1. 1Gently muddle mint leaves with simple syrup in a julep cup or rocks glass.
  2. 2Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice.
  3. 3Pour bourbon over the ice.
  4. 4Stir until the outside of the cup frosts.
  5. 5Top with a little more crushed ice and garnish with a large mint sprig.
